Medibudget Bisacodyl Laxative Dragées is a laxative that works in the large intestine. It stimulates the natural movements of the colon to promote bowel movements. It is used short-term for constipation due to bowel inactivity, prolonged bed rest, unfamiliar diets, or while traveling.
The following uses are under medical supervision: Medibudget Bisacodyl Laxative Dragées may also be administered when straining needs to be avoided, such as in cases of hemorrhoids or anal fissures, before X-rays of the gastrointestinal tract, and prior to surgeries to aid in bowel evacuation.

Active Ingredient:5 mg Bisacodyl per dragée (coated tablet).
Excipients:
Core: Lactose monohydrate, potato starch, gum arabic, gelatin, talc, magnesium stearate, highly dispersed silica.
Coating: Sucrose, gelatin, gum arabic, methacrylic acid-methyl methacrylate copolymer (1:2), calcium carbonate, hydrated silica, talc, highly dispersed silica, quinoline yellow (E 104), erythrosine (E 127), carnauba wax, yellow wax, shellac, methyl-4-hydroxybenzoate (E 218).
