What is GEM Mucolyticum and when is it used?

GEM Mucolyticum liquefies thick mucus in the respiratory tract, making it easier to cough up stubborn mucus. It reduces the urge to cough and facilitates breathing. GEM Mucolyticum is used for the treatment of cold-related cough with the production of thick mucus.

By prescription, GEM Mucolyticum can also be used for chronic inflammation of the bronchial mucosa associated with increased mucus production.

What does GEM Mucolyticum contain?

5 ml of syrup contains:

250 mg carbocisteine
