GEM Bronchial Pastilles with Codeine contain the active ingredient codeine. Codeine raises the irritation threshold of the cough center, thus suppressing the cough reflex and reducing the frequency of coughing.

What do GEM Bronchial Pastilles with Codeine contain?

1 pastille contains: 3.0 mg codeine phosphate. This product also contains additional excipients such as flavorings (eucalyptus oil, tolu balsam syrup, star anise oil, levomenthol, anise oil, licorice extract), sweeteners sorbitol, aspartame, and acesulfame K, the colorant caramel (E150), and preservatives methylparaben (E219) and potassium sorbate (E202), as well as other excipients.
