What is Parodentosan Gel and when is it used?

Parodentosan Gel is an antiseptic used for oral cavity conditions and oral hygiene. It contains chlorhexidine, which has a broad antimicrobial effect against bacteria and fungi, as well as plant-based ingredients that have a mild astringent effect, helping to reduce swelling of inflamed gums and protect exposed tooth necks.

1 g of gel for oral use contains:

Active ingredients:

2 mg chlorhexidine digluconate,3.8 mg myrrh tincture (1:5), extraction solvent 90% ethanol (v/v),1 mg sage oil

Excipients:

18% ethanol, xylitol (E 967), glycerol (E 422), 25 mg macroglycerol hydroxystearate, hydroxyethylcellulose, peppermint oil, purified water
